The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will transfer the doping tests taken during the Olympic Games of 2012 in London to the order of the Independent agency of anti-doping testing (ITA) for repeated recheck. The press service of the IOC reports about it. After the run high doping scandal with the Russian athletes of the IOC I initiated reverification of analyses of athletes from Games in Beijing (2008) and London (2012). As a result a number of athletes has been convicted of doping and deprived of medals. During the Games-2012 only nine positive doping tests have been handed over. As a result of recheck 48 more cases of the use of banned drugs have been recorded. ITA will repeatedly recheck doping tests by means of the latest scientific techniques. The organization will notify all athletes whose tests will cause suspicions. Athletes will be able to choose to consider the case in the Court of Arbitration for Sport or previously to appear before the Disciplinary commission of the IOC. The program of recheck of doping tests from the Olympic Games-2012 will proceed in 2019 and will be complete in the 2020th. The IOC declared creation of ITA on March 16, 2017 during the meeting of executive committee of the organization. ITA is engaged in development of individual plans of testing. Each athlete who intends to participate in the international competitions will have to hand over a certain quantity of doping tests which quantity for each athlete has to be "transparent". The board of ITA headed by the former Minister of Sport of France Valerie Furneyron includes also the representative of the IOC Turk Ugur Erdener, the head of Association of Summer Olympic International Federations Italian Francesco Ricci-Beatty, the head of the commission of athletes of the IOC Kirsty Coventry from Zimbabwe and the independent member Chen Peize (China).
