Ministry of Finance: Privileges and surcharges to oil industry workers against the background of pension reform will be unfair
The director of the department of the Ministry of Finance Alexey Sazanov, speaking at the Moscow financial forum, I have said that to provide to oil industry workers new privileges and it will be unfair to increase compensations for supply of fuel to domestic market in relation to Russians. Especially it will be unfair against the background of the pension reform which is carried out in the country and increase in the VAT up to 20%. According to Sazanov, following the results of the current 2018, growth of revenue of the oil companies, as expected, will be more than 30%, net profit will grow more than twice, and the free cash flow will increase by two and a half times. "In these conditions to say that the state has to undertake still additional surcharges to oil industry workers for deliveries to domestic market, to citizens to whom have raised the VAT from 18% to 20%, against the background of discussion of pension reform it is absolutely unfair", - the official has emphasized. Also he has noted that the Ministry of Finance can't justify before citizens of Russia acceptance of side benefits and surcharges for oil industry workers. We will remind: in the summer of the current year the State Duma of the Russian Federation has adopted the bill of modification of the pension system of Russia offered by the Cabinet in the first reading. The bill suggested to increase gradually for a long time retirement age for men up to 65 years, and for women to 63. On August 29 the President of Russia Vladimir Putin who has noted that pension reform is necessary has about it addressed and it is impossible to postpone her carrying out, and has proposed a number of amendments. In particular, the head of state has suggested to reduce retirement age for women from 63 to 60 years and also to approve the preferential mode of an entry into deserved rest for mothers having many children. Also Putin has suggested to establish responsibility for employers for dismissal of workers of pre-retirement age.
