Any European or the American was never interested in economy of Ukraine - Azarov

of Any political or public figure from the United States of America or the European Union the economy of Ukraine per se never interested. Such statement was made by Mykola Azarov, the former Ukrainian prime minister.

"At us with Europeans and Americans were tens or there can be even hundreds of meetings at the most different level, and we told every time to them about opportunities and prospects of Ukraine. We tried to create some joint projects, but never saw a little considerable interest from their party. Interest wasn't then, it is absent and now" — the Federal news agency quotes Azarov.

the Talk that at the new power the stream of investments "has fallen" upon Ukraine is as Azarov notes, just the chatter designed to show to the Ukrainian people nonexistent progress of the people who have seized power in Kiev as a result of a coup.

"Foreign businessmen are guided first of all by pragmatical interests, that is, they aren't going to risk money and to contact the country where the total volume of the market is some pathetic 50 billion dollars. Nobody will build business with the country which is elementary shipped in the conflict. Even without the conflict with investments there was everything not so simply, and now and even less so" — the ex-prime minister of Ukraine adds.
